A Bold Leap from Job Security to Business Success
Where most people choose the security of a steady job, one woman took a bold leap of faith… and became a thriving entrepreneur earning a profit in the millions! This is the inspiring story of Mayuri Nitin Kale.
Originally from Songaon in the Niphad taluka, Mayuri was a brilliant student from the start. She earned her B.E. in Electronics and launched a promising career. After getting married, she continued to work for a while, but the birth of her daughter led her to make a difficult decision: to leave her job to spend more time with her family.
But Mayuri wasn't one to sit idle. She completed an electric vehicle design course and soon received a fantastic job offer with an annual package of five lakh rupees. There was just one catch—the job was in Pune, far from her family. The thought of disrupting her family life was heartbreaking, and with a heavy heart, she turned the opportunity down. It was a tough choice, but she chose her family's happiness.
Right at that moment, her husband presented an unexpected proposal: would she be willing to take on the franchise of 'Juice Farm' on Nashik's College Road? With no prior business experience, Mayuri's only thought was, “Let’s give it a try!” She embraced the challenge with a positive mindset.
And thus began her journey towards success –
Mayuri took over the Juice Farm in February 2024. Although her husband was there to support her, he had to leave for Iran for work the very next day. Suddenly, she was on her own, handling everything from running the business until 11 PM to managing her home. Through this dual responsibility, she discovered a crucial insight: with the right planning, a woman can successfully manage both her family and her business.
She quickly learned the ropes—mastering time management, understanding customers, and absorbing the intricacies of the business. Starting with just one helper, she threw herself into the work with new energy.
Mayuri focused on two key strategies to boost her profits. First, she perfected the juice-making process to ensure consistency and quality. Second, she started engaging directly with customers, explaining the health benefits of the juices. This personal connection and improved service led to repeat business, and her customer base began to grow rapidly.
Mayuri’s relentless efforts paid off. By August 2024, the Juice Farm’s profits started climbing. Today, the business generates a net monthly profit of about ₹80,000. This 28-year-old entrepreneur, who once regretted missing a corporate opportunity, is now incredibly proud of her decision.
As Mayuri says, “I am proud that I started my own business, and any woman like me can do it.”
Her business is stable, she employs two people, and she’s not stopping there. By efficiently managing her time, Mayuri has already ventured into a new business as a partner in a ‘Kitchen Culture’ outlet. This drive to seize a second opportunity right after succeeding in the first is a testament to her ambition and her motto: “Never let an opportunity pass you by.”
Mayuri shares that she feels a sense of satisfaction in her work, as she is able to provide high-quality, farm-fresh products to customers with minimal investment, bridging the gap between farmers and consumers.
Mayuri’s story proves that every woman can use her skills to become a successful entrepreneur without ever compromising on her family.
