Sahyadri Farmers Producer Co. Ltd., a leading farmers company in India mainly operating in horticulture crops. The company is one of the biggest exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables. As also expanding strongly into domestic B2B trade, Retail as well processed food segment. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for PnL of category
  • To handle Supply Chain for the respective category
  • To identify the gaps in the supply chain and necessary action for the resolution
  • Category Surveys & Estimations
  • Farmer group/FPC assessment and onboarding
  • Farmer Engagement in coordination with Agronomist
  • Certifications & Compliance as per the requirement
  • Food safety and traceability
  • Costing
  • Product Pricing
  • Employee recruitment & retention

KRA's

  • Achieving the Top Line for category as per the yearly budget
  • Achieving the Bottom Line for category as per the yearly budget
  • To meet the Fill Rate as per the yearly budget
  • Achieving the Top Line for category as per the MoM budget
  • Achieving the Bottom Line for category as per the MoM budget
  • To meet the Fill Rate as per the MoM budget
  • To meet the TAT in the Supply Chain

Qualification

  • Agriculture graduates/Post Graduates or
  • Graduates/Post Graduates from any other discipline with sound commercial agri business sence
  • MBA/PGDBM from reputed institutes preferable

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the agriculture/allied industry
  • However, experience will not be a barrier for the right candidate
  • Direct engagement with Farmers/FPO's in previous role will be added advantage

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To provide technical advisory to the Farmers both Offline & Online manner

  • Certifications & Compliance as per the requirement

KRA's

  • To meet the goal for direct procurement from Farmers
  • To provide timely solutions to the farmers queries in specified TAT

  • To meet cost of production reduction goals at farm level

Qualification

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To set up agronomy protocol for safe farm produce for various crops/varieties. This should parallaly cover the productivity, quality and post harvest.
  • To conduct trials for various Agri Inputs, Equipments & Machineries use direct in farm
  • To validate the protocols from key farmers/institues
  • To document the protocols to Field Team within specified time limits with complete clarity on weather requirements, nutrition management, pest-disease management, soil health management, intercultural operations and post harvest.

Executive Plant Import

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To import patented/non patented planting material of various Crops/Varieties.
  • To complete the approval process for import of planting material with DIA, District Agriculture Office, State Agriculture Office and Exim Committee at Delhi.
  • To complete PEQ Approval process
  • Coordination with CHA/Cargo
  • To complete the planting material import, release and transfer process as per the PQ SOP.
  • Complete import data keeping and reporting to all the stakeholders
  • Communication with the breeders/nurseries related to planting material import
  • To handle the formalities and follow up related to DUS Testing.
  • To look into the distribution of imported planting material to farmers and data keeping along with reporting.

KRA's

  • To complete the plant import process within timelines.
  • To complete the PEQ aprroval formalities time to time.
  • Timely clearances of import consignments
  • To comply the PQ SOP standards for plant import, PEQ and Release as per the process and timelines.
  • Timely reporting of status for the import in process material
  • Timely submission of data related to already imported planting material
